京都有一家很有名的蛋包飯，叫做 Kichi Kichi Omurice。

這家店不是那種「走到附近，看到有人排隊就跟著排」的地方。
它的座位很少，而且必須先預約。ザ・洋食屋・キチキチ - オムライスで世界をHappyに！

我以前去的時候，預約方式和現在不一樣。
那時候通常要等每個月月初開放下一階段的座位，心理上幾乎都要做好至少提前一個月的準備。

所以當時如果真的想吃，不是臨時決定就能去。

現在制度已經改了。

目前主要有兩種方式：

Same-Day Reservation
就是當天搶當天的座位。午餐通常在日本時間 9:30 開放，晚餐則是 13:30 開放。每席需要先支付 US$13，之後會抵餐費。

另一種是 Premium Reservation。
這個可以提前預約，但只限官方日曆上標示為藍色的日期，而且是在用餐日前 3 天的午夜 0:00 開放。每席也是 US$13，但這是預約費，不退款，餐費到店再另外付。

所以現在要吃，已經不像以前要提前一個月等月初開放，但還是要先把時間安排好。

而且一定要準時。

因為這間店真的很小。
不是因為它故意營造「很難訂」的感覺，而是真的座位有限。

但我會說，它不只是因為有名才值得去。

它真的很好吃。

那個蛋包飯端上來的時候，看起來很簡單。
可是蛋的口感、醬汁、香氣，吃下去你就會明白，為什麼這麼多年還是有人一直想來。

如果你真的想去，出發前最好再看一次官方網站。

因為這家店的預約方式，真的會改。

Kichi Kichi Omurice is one of Kyoto’s most famous omurice restaurants.

But this isn’t the kind of place where you simply walk in and wait in line.

The restaurant is very small, and reservations are required.

When I visited years ago, the reservation system was different.
At that time, bookings usually opened around the beginning of the month, and you almost had to plan at least a month ahead.

Today, there are two main options.

Same-Day Reservation lets you book a seat for the same day, with lunch reservations opening around 9:30 AM and dinner around 1:30 PM Japan time. 

Premium Reservation allows you to book selected future dates, opening three days before your visit at midnight. 

So the system has changed, but one thing hasn’t:

You still need to plan ahead.

And yes, the omurice really is worth it.
