ABOUT JOSH

Josh

I’m Josh.

On the radio, people know me as Arnie.

My life has been a long-distance run without a map.

At twenty-two, I returned to Taiwan from LA. From that moment on, I decided I would never live just one kind of life.

In recording studios, I weave melodies. In darkrooms and behind the camera, I capture light and shadow. Late at night, I blend emotions behind the bar; in the early morning, I create warmth and a sense of home through teahouses and guesthouses.

Some call it being a “multi-hyphenate.” I prefer to call it an adventure.

These roles—musician, photographer, curator, and barista—may seem unrelated, but each is a different way for me to engage in dialogue with the world.

This website is my way of taking stock of the decades I have lived. It is the culmination of a life spent daring to take risks, break new ground, and venture into the unknown.

Half of my life has been collected here.

The other half is still on the road—still unfolding.
